Stephen is an „old man“ who is a gamer since the 80’s and dreaming of making games!

His experiences in programming tools like the Backup-Tool DirSync.de and some prototypes of games which never became finished he decided to develop a pixelart game and release it.

His passion for games and development brings him from his IT-Jobs he made the last 20 Years in the past to 2025, where he started developing The Old Guards. Hooked by nice pixelart 2D graphics he started this beautyful game.

In 2026 he luckily quit his job to spend all time developing 🙂
